Diese Liste beginnt mit der ersten öffentlichen Fassung. Was davor während
der Entwicklung passiert ist, steht nicht darin.

Die erste öffentliche Fassung.

Was der Stick kann:
- Zugangsdaten verschlüsselt speichern und wie eine Tastatur eintippen -
  am PC wie am Smartphone, ohne App auf dem Zielgerät.
- Bis zu 256 Einträge, alphabetisch sortiert, mit Sprung zum
  Anfangsbuchstaben.
- Ausgabe wahlweise Schritt für Schritt oder in einem Rutsch. Schritt für
  Schritt hilft bei Anmeldeseiten, die das Passwortfeld erst nach dem
  Laden zeigen.
- Vierstellige PIN mit ansteigender Wartezeit; nach 10 Fehlversuchen
  löscht sich der Stick vollständig.
- Notfall-PIN: Eine zweite PIN, die beim Entsperren alle Zugangsdaten
  löscht und den Stick danach ganz normal öffnet - für den Fall, dass
  jemand zur Herausgabe drängt.
- Deutsches und amerikanisches Tastaturlayout, in der App umschaltbar.
- Backup über die Tastatur als Notausgang, wenn kein PC zur Hand ist.

Was die App kann:
- Zugangsdaten anlegen, bearbeiten, löschen und durchsuchen.
- Passwortgenerator mit einstellbarem Zeichenvorrat.
- Verschlüsseltes Backup (AES-256-GCM, Argon2id) und Wiederherstellung.
- Import aus einer CSV-Datei.
- Firmware-Update ohne Zusatzprogramme.
- Auf Wunsch nachsehen, ob es neuere Fassungen gibt - nur auf Knopfdruck.

Was noch nicht fertig ist:
- Der Fehlversuchszähler liegt im Speicher des Mikrocontrollers, nicht im
  Sicherheitschip. Wer den Strom im richtigen Augenblick unterbricht, kann
  ihn unter Umständen anhalten.
- Die Firmware ist nicht signiert. Secure Boot kommt später.
- Die Installer sind nicht signiert; Windows warnt entsprechend.
- Keine Fassung für macOS.

The first public release.

What the stick does:
- Stores credentials encrypted and types them like a keyboard - on a PC or
  a phone, with no app needed on the target device.
- Up to 256 entries, sorted alphabetically, with a jump to the first
  letter.
- Output either step by step or all at once. Step by step helps with login
  pages that only reveal the password field after loading.
- Four-digit PIN with escalating lockout; after 10 failed attempts the
  stick wipes itself completely.
- Duress PIN: a second PIN that deletes all credentials on unlocking and
  then opens the stick as usual - for situations where you are pressured
  into handing it over.
- German and US keyboard layouts, switchable from the app.
- Keyboard backup as an emergency exit when no PC is at hand.

What the app does:
- Create, edit, delete and search credentials.
- Password generator with a configurable character pool.
- Encrypted backup (AES-256-GCM, Argon2id) and restore.
- Import from a CSV file.
- Firmware updates without extra tools.
- Check for newer versions on request - only when you press the button.

What is not finished yet:
- The failed-attempt counter lives in the microcontroller's memory, not in
  the secure element. Cutting power at the right moment may stall it.
- The firmware is not signed. Secure Boot comes later.
- The installers are not signed; Windows will warn accordingly.
- No macOS build.
