This is where you find the PC app for theVault and the firmware for the stick.

theVault is currently a pre-series and not yet on sale – see availability.

The files are available to signed-in customers. Sign in or register.

PC app for theVault 0.11.6.0

For creating, editing and backing up your credentials, for one-time codes and the diagnostic report. theVault does not need a PC to retrieve passwords.

The installers are not signed. Windows will therefore show a warning you have to confirm. On macOS the system reports an unidentified developer and will not open the app on a double click – open it once from the context menu instead (right-click the app icon, then “Open”).

Firmware for theVault 0.2.34.2

The firmware is signed and only starts on theVault devices with Secure Boot. It is installed through the app (settings, “Update firmware”); the stick must be unlocked and in APP mode.

Make a backup first. This version raises the rollback version: once it has started, no older firmware can be installed any more.

Covers the stick and the app in full – from the first PIN to backups. The PDF is the same A6 booklet that ships with the device; to reprint it, choose “Booklet” in the print dialog.

These let you check whether a file arrived complete and unchanged.

The firmware is signed as well – theVault would not start a substituted one. That does not yet apply to the app installers: anyone able to replace the files on this server could replace this list too.
